Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how the Charitable Organization Charitable Foundation "Peace for the Future" ("we", "our" or "us", "the Foundation") collects, uses, transmits and stores personal information of users through its website https://www.forfuture.life ("Site" "), including the Foundation's social networks. This Policy applies to the Site and to the Foundation's social networks on which information similar to the Site is posted or on which there is a link to such a Site.

By using the Services, you accept the terms of this Policy and also agree to the collection, use, disclosure and storage of your information as described in this Policy.

If you haven't already, please read our terms of use as well. The Terms of Use contain provisions that limit our liability to you and require you to resolve any dispute with us on a case-by-case basis and not as part of any class or representative claim. If you do not agree to any part of this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use, please do not use any of the services.

Please note that this Policy does not apply to information collected through third-party websites or services that you may access through the Site, unless you send us personal information (personal data) to our email address and/or through our Google forms posted on the Site.

The personal information used in this Privacy Policy is equivalent to "personal data" as defined in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the definition of personal data, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection"

Sensitive data

Some of the information you provide to us may be sensitive data as defined by the GDPR (also called special categories of personal data), including the identification of your race or ethnicity in the identity documents issued.

We use your personal information only in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and international agreements, treaties ratified by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. We must inform you of the legal basis for our processing of your personal information. The information we collect from you may include:

  • Identification information such as your first name, last name, username or similar identifier, position, date of birth and gender, date of state registration (for a legal entity), tax code;

  • Contact information such as your email address and phone number;

  • Address, including country of residence, city, postal code, postal address, address of the house and/or apartment;

  • Identity document (e.g. passport or identity card, pension certificate);

  • A document certifying the status of an internally displaced person;

  • Your current selfie photo or your photo confirming that you have received humanitarian aid from us;

  • Scanned and readable electronic copies of all valid passports (for individuals), other identification documents allowing to establish identity or registration documents (for legal entities);

We collect personal data to:

  • So that you can access information about our activities and the assistance we provide;

  • To receive assistance from us, within the limits established by our Charter and in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine;

  • To contact us for cooperation within the limits established by our Charter and in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine;

  • To provide charitable assistance to the final recipients of such assistance through us as the Fund and / or to provide assistance (charitable contribution) for the statutory purposes of the Fund;

  • Information necessary to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) laws;

  • Financial information such as your credit card details or other payment card details;

  • Usage information, such as information about how you use the Site and interact with us;

  • Technical information such as (1) IP address, (2) typical device usage, (3) device operating system, (4) browser; (5) API keys.

In addition, we may use third-party services, such as Google Analytics, which collect, track and analyze this information.

We also use your personal data to inform about our activities, upcoming events and other news about the Fund.

These actions to process your personal data are in our legitimate interests. We make sure to consider and balance any potential impacts on you (both positive and negative) and your rights before processing your personal information for our legitimate interests. We do not use your personal information for activities in which our interests outweigh any adverse effects on you (unless we have your consent or otherwise required or permitted by law).

Transfer of personal information

We do not share personal information you provide with other individuals, businesses, institutions and organizations without your explicit consent, except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We disclose personal information to third parties in the following circumstances:

  • Affiliates, for a purpose that does not contradict this Privacy Policy and the current legislation of Ukraine.

  • Third parties are contractors. We may share personal information when we enter into relevant agreements, agreements, contracts to fulfill the statutory goals and objectives of the Law Enforcement and Law Enforcement Fund; protection and security. We may transfer personal information for legal purposes, protection and security purposes.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we take into account the scope, nature and confidentiality of personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information, and we may achieve these purposes through other means and relevant legal requirements.

The total period of storage of your personal data by us is 10 years.

In some cases, we may anonymize your personal information (so that it cannot be linked to you), in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice.

We use industry standard security measures designed to protect all information transmitted through the Site. However, the security of information transmitted over the Internet can never be guaranteed. We are not responsible for any interception or interruption of any communications over the Internet, nor for the alteration or loss of data.

Restriction

If you have not reached the partial (incomplete) capacity of 14 years, you may use our Site only with the consent or supervision of your parents, one of them or legal representatives (guardians/trustees).

Entry into force and amendment

This Privacy Policy will enter into force on August 1, 2022 and will remain in effect, except for any changes to its provisions in the future, which will take effect immediately upon posting on this page.

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site after we post any changes to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your recognition of the changes and your consent to comply with the amended Privacy Policy.
