The funds raised were spent on humanitarian aid to the victims of the disaster in the Kherson region.
On June 6, 2023, Russians blew up the Kakhovka HYDROELECTRIC POWER STATION and caused a large-scale man-made disaster that affected more than 12 thousand civilians in the Kherson region. The Foundation's team promptly purchased and delivered humanitarian aid to the victims, the State Emergency Service and volunteers.
Thousands of affected residents of the Kherson region were trapped in flooded towns and villages. Our team immediately went to help. We delivered boats, mattresses, necessary evacuation equipment, and water purification pills; we provided communication by installing Starlink, EcoFlow, and power banks.
Volunteer headquarters and the SES worked around the clock in extremely difficult and dangerous conditions. A lot of equipment and resources were lost due to attacks by Russian troops even during the evacuation of affected civilians. We provided them with the most necessary supplies and helped to purchase equipment for the SES and humanitarian aid for the DNA volunteer center.
