In March and April, we were able to implement this important project thanks to the generous support of the people of Japan. Their help has ensured that the necessary equipment is already working and saving lives of Ukrainians.
We have successfully implemented an important project - "Provision of medical equipment to the Chernihiv Regional Blood Center", which was supported by the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine under the Kusanone grant program. Thanks to the grant of USD 71,058, our foundation purchased, the supplier delivered and the blood center successfully put into operation the following critical equipment, namely
- Centrifuge for blood components ROTO SILENTA 630RS
- Two freezers for storing blood components
The total cost of this equipment amounted to UAH 3,351,407. This equipment is already working for the benefit of people: it helps to efficiently procure, process and store donated blood, which saves lives every day. In the difficult conditions of the war, the stable operation of the Chernihiv Regional Blood Center is extremely important for the supply of hospitals in the region and military hospitals. We express our sincere gratitude to the people of Japan and the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine for their strong support and trust. This is an example of true international solidarity that has an invaluable impact on saving Ukrainian lives.
